At the moment he is dressed in an old fashion but sexy vampire outfit (included the fake teeth).
Abilities: Math, Physics, Chemistry, Computer, Arts, well educated, through his mother an addiction to fashion design, extraordinary prankster
Personality
* Hikaru is the older one of the twins
* He is crueler then Kaoru and has more problems holding his temper.
* He is insecure, especially in associating with other people.
* He needs his twin, maybe more then Kaoru needs him.
* He is very jealously, selfishly and he has trouble with sharing things.
* He is a prankster and a little devil, like his brother.
* It seems that he has a somewhat lesser measure of emotional maturity than his twin Kaoru.
* He likes Haruhi but he likes Kaoru even more.
* Favorite food: Anything super spicy (He's not really partial to spicy foods so much as being contrary by eating whatever's "So fiery that nobody else dares try it"), Italian, maple syrup
Biography
Hikaru Hitachiin is the older Hitachiin twin. He and his younger twin (Kaoru) are members of the Ouran High School Host Club, they are the "little devil" types of the club. They enjoy manipulating others for their own amusement and they are easily bored by most things.
Because of Tamaki´s suggestion, they tend to imply an incestuous relationship for fun, also called the "brotherly love-act" making a show of it for the pleasure of their fans among the Host Club's customers. Sometimes you get the feeling that this isn´t an act on their side. (You see a glimpse of that in the holiday episode, where Kaoru got hurt because of a broken window shard.)
He and his brother are extremely close but also a little dependent on one another. Their main problem is that they are seeing the world primarily in terms of "us" and "those apart from us", because of that they have little concern for others. The exception is Haruhi a new member of the Host Club. She is the only person who can tell both twins apart and acknowledge their individuality, therefore they are starting to include her in their little world.
Because of that fact, Hikaru wasn´t pleased when Haruhi told him that he wasn´t like his brother
(aside from the same look). She said: Kaoru, when by himself, is actually pretty normal and composed. On the other hand, Hikaru when left to his own devices, tends to be noisy and lacking common sense."
Hikaru can be angered easily and sometimes has problems showing his emotions in a civilized manner. Adding to that, he also seems to be the more insecure one of both twins.
Almost everything Hikaru does is centered around Kaoru. Therefore he isn´t happy to find himself in a weird looking park, without his twin and with a small communicator in his hand. To say that Hikaru would be annoyed would be an understatement of the year.
Relationships
Canon:
Tamaki Shou: The bane of his existence in the moment and his supposed named father
Kyouya Otori: Vice-president and treasurer of the Host Club. He is also the one who can restrain the twins if it would be necessary.
Haruhi: He likes her and she is the only person who ever managed to get into their world. So she is part of their little family.
